February 19, 1943 - August 4, 2022
Charles G. Dumas, 79 of Jacksonville Arkansas died August 4th 2022 at St. Vincent North Hospital. He was born February 19, 1943 in Scott, Arkansas. He is the son of Samuel James Dumas and Rosie Lee (Pettis) Dumas.
Charles loved being around family and friends, singing, telling jokes and being outside. His laughter, jokes and singing would brighten any room he entered. He had nicknames for everyone, whether you liked the name or not. If you were picked on by daddy that meant he loved you. He was so strong physically and mentally, one of the strongest men I have ever known. He would do anything for the ones he loved.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings and children, Charles Womack Jr., Charlene (Dumas) Thomas and Charles Dumas Jr.
Surviving are his sisters, Doris and Ruthie. His children, Dianne (Kenneth), Rosie (Jermey), Tamera (Daniel), Ashley (Don), Tangie (Tracy), Micheal, Eric, Clint, David, Candi, Jordan and Marlo. Grandchildren, Kam, Jada, Anaya, Aaliyah, Jermey Jr, Zoie, Racquel, Ebony, Wayne, Chris Jr, Vickie, Katrina, Darius, Kalob, Virgil, Andreal, Devin and Kaleb. Also Katheryn, Elizabeth and a host of great-grandchildren.

Charles always treated us like family. He was a father to me when I needed one the most. He was always there to listen no matter what. If it wasn't for him I might not have the life I do now full of happiness and laughter. You will forever be missed and loved by my family. I will treasure the wonderful memories I have and the love you gave us.
The family is in our prayers from Doris Pippins and Family

No matter where he lived he always made a friend had visitors to listen to his stories, jokes, and singing . The sadness is in the loss of his life the pain we have when we fill this emptiness we have from knowing he can't be replaced. I meet him thru a friend fell in love with her he's been there since the birth of my 8 yr old shared our birthday 🎂, but not chicken thighs those were always his. To the family I know this is a tragic loss but he is still here watching over yahll be sadden by his loss remember not the pain he endured because he suffered so much in health to stay with yahll but he knew God was calling him home and he was ready to go. Me n Cindy lovett love yahll n will be here as needed even if it's just to share a tear. Laugh or a chicken thigh 🤔
