Joann Caldwell, 79, of Pangburn passed August 4, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was born November 24, 1942 in Pangburn to the late Lee and Frances (Cordle) Sexton.
Joann attended the Baptist churches in Pangburn and McJester, where she was the church secretary and worked in the nursery for years. She enjoyed reading, working with her flowers, loved her family and was an avid Arkansas Razorback basketball fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 22 years, Edgar Eugene Caldwell; sisters, Pauline Pearce, Nadine Hayden, Ruby Weatherford, Imogene Ellis; brothers, Johnny Sexton, Richard Sexton, Willie Sexton and Jimmy Ellis.
She is survived by her son, Danny Barnes (Marlene); daughter, Sharon Wright (Darrel); grandson, Josh Vaughan (Ashley); great grandson, Jonathan Vaughan; a brother, Ben Weatherford (Angela); a sister, Pat Imbierowicz (Jerry) and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held 12-1 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 with service to follow at McJester Baptist Church in Pangburn. Interment will be at Leggett Cemetery in Pangburn.
