Raymond Wayne McHughes, 79, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born on November 19, 1942, in North Little Rock, to the late Raymond Noah and Glenna Gertrude McHughes.
Wayne was a master plummer during his career all the way up until his retirement. He answered the call to minister and was the pastor of ''We Are One Ministry'' for 38 years. Wayne was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a huge Arkansas Razorback fan, dedicated to watching them in every sport they played. Wayne was also a hardworking gardener, blessing his table and many others with his fresh vegetables.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy McHughes; son, Michael McHughes; daughters, Tamberly Hughes and Rhonda Del Castillo; grandchildren, Joshua Hughes and Brittney, Cristian, and Kate Del Castillo; great grandchildren, Skyler, Tyler, Julia, Cali and Konner Hughes; sons-in-law, Enrique Del Castillo and Troy Sealy; brothers-in-law, Mike Webb, Michael Gibson, Robert Waycasy, Phillip Waycasy, and Harry Waycasy; and sister-in-law, Barbara Gibson.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Hughes.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, at 2:00 P.M., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cabot.
I was so sad to hear about Wayne. I could not get off work for the funeral, but will try to get by and see you as soon as I can. Love you guys
