Aunt Mary was so much fun and dearly precious to all who knew her! She was beautiful inside and out, always so gracious, kind, and very "savvy" about the world in general, local people, and especially family members. She loved to laugh and to bring a smile to another's face, yet always acted with kindness, patience, and understanding. I adored this wonderful woman, and I'll always miss her. (From Ann, mother of Jane Faith Brown.)
Mary was a Wonderful woman. She was always so very kind to me when I called to speak to Don. I really enjoyed her company. God bless.
Mary was my 2nd cousin, but more like a close Aunt; she was my dad's 1st cousin. When I was a child, we lived down the street from her mom, my Great Aunt Ada, and I would go visit often. When I was in the Girl Scouts, she had us over to tour the house she was remodeling/living in, in Judsonia, the mansion as it was called. It's a Southern Antebellum "mansion". She was flipping houses before it became a thing.
I had seen most of the homes she flipped, and they were always beautiful; she was also a realtor at the time. She and her brother, M. D. Faith had an office on Race Street.
All I have now are the memories she gave me, and the red lipstick 💄 she always wore.
My grandma Garner ALWAYS made sure she got her sugars. If you knew her, you likely know "sugars" meant kisses.
She was sweet like the sugars she gave but also so strong. I do and will continue to miss her greatly and feel so blessed to have called her my grandmother, and great grandmother to my children.
Giving sugars was the first and last thing we did every time we saw each other, even when she had her red lipstick on that would hardly wipe off my cheek. I think, at least in my memories, I just leave that lipstick kiss on my cheek from now on.
I send condolences to the family. Ms.Mary was a lovely lady. I am thankful for the time that I had taking part in her care at Stonebridge. Bless you all as you grieve.
Such a beautiful loving Aunt. The only Aunt I had on the Garner side of family. Loved her so much â¤ï¸
My thoughts and prayers for the family
