Guy F. Reeves, 88, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Booneville.
Guy was born January 16, 1934 in Springfield, Missouri to David Reeves and Marie (Knowles) Reeves. He worked as a block mason laying stones, bricks and pavers for housing and building projects. Guy was an Army veteran of the Korean war and enjoyed raising game roosters and gardening. Guy was also a family man, he loved each of his children and grandchildren and would do anything for them that he could.
He is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above; his wife of twenty-six years, Sylvia (Fletcher) Reeves; a brother, Price Reeves; a sister, Dorothy Blue and a son, Larry Julian.
He is survived by his son, David Julian and wife, Robin of Magazine; three daughters, Michelle Reeves and husband, Leslie Calhoun of Magazine, Regina Macias of Magazine and Gilana Turnbull of Riverside, California; three sisters, JoAnne Hargis and husband, Loyd of Washington, Bonnie Reeves of Washington and Wilma Carpenter of Sacramento, California; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home Paris.

Sorry for your loss. Guy was always a good friend a second dad away from home. Your raised strong wonderful girl's my friends. You was always good to many. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Guy Reeves was one of Best men I ever had the privilege of knowing. Thank Guy for being my friend.
