James Cory Johnson "Boat", age 42, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at his home.

Cory was born January 12, 1980 in Yellville, Arkansas to Larry Dale and Donna (Wallace) Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of the area.

Cory is survived by two brothers, Jeremy Johnson of Centerville, Arkansas, Justin Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas; his sister, Contessa "Tessa" Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas; his grandmother, Lela Jefferson of Yellville, Arkansas; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Joe Bill Wallace, Oliver Johnson and his Poppa, Jeff Jefferson.

Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Yellville.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church with Bro Rick Pyron officiating.

Interment will be private.

Pallbearers will be Craig Johnson, Quintin Farmer, Ronnie Wallace, Mark Wallace, Donnie Wallace and Brady Madden.
