Cecil Scott Witt, 60, of Alread, Arkansas passed away from this life Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born December 15, 1961 in Conway, Arkansas to William "Cletis" and Sammie Jane (Koone) Witt.
Cecil is preceded in death by his mother, Sammie; brother, Keith Witt and his redbone, Daisy.
Cecil was a jack of all trades, but found his niche in being a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He found joy in the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing. Cecil also enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers every chance he got. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything in this world. Cecil will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
Left to cherish Cecil's memory are his father, Cletis of Clinton, Arkansas; two children; Aaron (Jacinda) Witt of Harrison, Arkansas and Nathan (Shelby) Witt of Alread, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Avery Witt, Jaxon Witt, Dawson Witt and Abbie Witt; one sister, Susie Witt; one brother, Keven (Lisa) Witt of Clinton, Arkansas and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services for Cecil Witt will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Friendship Community Church, located at 22210 AR 16 W, Clinton, Arkansas 72031, near Alread, Arkansas. Randy Thomas will be officiating.

Cecil was one of a kind. He was a distant cousin of mine but more than that, he was a good friend. He was a jokester like his brother Keith. Always willing to help anyone out. Though l moved to Missouri and hadn’t seen him much, l talked to him at the 2021 Alread fireworks show and we reminensed over old times playing basketball together at Alread. He will be missed.
