Dan Brolliar, 65, of Mountain View, Arkansas went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He passed at his home peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Dan was born on September 10, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Boyd Maynard ''Sonny'' and Rosemary Faith (Dickey) Brolliar. On June 11, 1977 he married his long-time sweetheart, Patricia (Patty) Lynn Loper and on August 4, 1979, they were blessed with a daughter, Candice (Candi) Marie (Brolliar) Golden. Dan worked in transportation at a cement plant where he dispatched and loaded both trucks and rail cars. He also worked both part-time and as a volunteer on the Midlothian Texas Fire Department, where he served as a firefighter and medic for many years. He also kept many side jobs doing handy man work, mechanic work and roofing. On Dan's 33rd birthday, he and his family were all baptized into the Baptist church at Oak Crest in Midlothian where they attended for many years.
Dan and Patty lived in Midlothian, TX for many years where they raised their daughter, but retired to Mountain View in January of 2010. While vacationing at Bull Shoals they came across Mountain View while out exploring and fell in love with it. They bought a cabin on Dodd Mountain and quickly became friends with their neighbors who invited them to the First Baptist Church, which quickly became their new church home. Dan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a man who loved the Lord, knew He came first, and led his family with this same high moral compass.
Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia (Patty) Loper Brolliar of Mountain View, Arkansas; daughter, Candice (Candi) Marie Brolliar Golden of Cleburne, Texas; younger sister, Dayna Faith Brolliar of Austin, Texas; three grandsons, Adam Vance and Cory and Allen Golden all of Texas; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many loving extended family, church family and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Maynard ''Sonny'' and Rosemary Faith (Dickey) Brolliar and older sister, Michelle Rae Brolliar.

Very sorry for your loss of Dan as husband, father and grandfather. Our condolences.
Mrs. Patty,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved and cared for Mr. Dan. In three years, I’ve encountered a lot of patients and families, but none that stuck with me as much as you both. I pray you find peace and comfort in this time.
Good man, what else can I say. Worked with Dan for many years. Sorry to hear has passed. Condolences to Patty and his family.
Our heartfelt prayers to the family. We will never forget our friend who was dedicated to the teamwork to help others along with his wife Patty.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Dan for many years at Gifford Hill. He was a good man who will be greatly missed!
I’ve never met a more devoted family man in my life. I’ve had the privilege of calling Dan, Patty, and Candi family for many years. Peace and love to you all. Remember Dan’s the lucky one here, he’s with our Lord and Savior.
