Rita Carol Cox, 66, of Osceola, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born April 29, 1956 in Memphis, TN to Quitman and Dorothy Cox Sr. Rita worked for McDonalds in Osceola for many years. She enjoyed painting and took painting classes from Arkansas North Eastern College. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Larry (Phyllis) Cox Jr.; niece, Wendi (Robert) Massey; great nephews, Malachi Christian Massey and Dylan (Chelsi) Massey and great great niece, Harlee Grace Massey and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rita and I were reacquainted here in Jonesboro through Central Baptist for a few years before she returned to Osceola. We are greatly saddened at her passing. She was a sweet loyal friend with a sense of humor. My family and I are sorry about her untimely departure. For I had hoped to contact her again. May the Lord Jesus comfort the family and loved ones immensely! âœï¸
