Ellen Maye Drewry Swiderski, age 86 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, February 28th, 2022 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born in Imo, Arkansas on December 17th, 1935, along with her twin sister, Ida Faye to Radus Sylvester Drewry and Joy V. Firestone Drewry.
Ellen and George were married on December 17th, 1962. Ida Faye and Paul Smith were married on December 17th, 1960. December 17th was birthday and anniversary for the twin sisters. Ellen worked many jobs around the Marshall area and had many friends. She was a telephone operator, worked at the shirt factory and the County Clerk's office. Ellen was even a real estate broker. She and George always had a big garden. She enjoyed cooking, canning and visiting with her friends. Ellen loved her family, and her greatest joy was being able to spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Terry Finis Swiderski and wife Molli of Noxapater, Mississippi;
three grandchildren, Katelyn Maye Swiderski, Sarah Claire Swiderski and Matthew Ross Swiderski; siblings, Joyce Scott (Vernon) of Batesville, Trudy McCutcheon of Harrison and William Drewry of Harrison; and many nieces, nephews and extended family who will also mourn her passing.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Radus and Joy Drewry; her husband, George Finis Swiderski who passed away in 2020; siblings, Ida Faye Drewry Smith, Radus Sylvester Drewry, Louise Virginia Drewry DuPont and infant sister, Sandy Kaye Drewry.
Graveside memorial services for Ellen will be 10:30 AM, May 30th, 2022 at Bear Creek Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Jackie Smithson officiating.

Prayers for you and your family. I worked for George and Ellen in the County Clerks office the summer between high school and college.
I am sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. My mom Ida Ilene Drewry West talked of her often. They were 1st cousins. My mom passed away 2 months ago. I remember Uncle Radius and Aunt Joy and her yard full of flowers.

I have fond memories of both of the twins. My husband and bought a car from them many years ago. I also attended school with them and graduated with them. My thoughts and prayers are with Ellen Mae’s family.

My Condolences to this family. I have many memories, of both Ellen and Ida from high school. We graduated together in 1954. Very sweet ladies and special friends.
