Betty Sue (Butler) Pelts, 87, formerly of Clarksville, AR, went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 6, 2022, in Fort Smith. Betty was born in Lead Hill, AR, on June 7, 1934, to John and Irene (Fredrick) Butler. Betty was a member of the Strawberry Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed her church and singing praises to her Lord, hummingbirds, trout fishing, traveling and cooking. She loved her family, church family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 66 years, Richard Pelts; her sister, Mary Pelts; brother in-laws, Larry Pelts, Clarence Pelts and Howard Pelts and sister in-law, Leann Pelts.
Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Larry Sanders of Fort Smith; two grandchildren Larry (Digger) Sanders of Clarksville, Christopher and Mandi Sanders of Jacksonville, FL; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Leanita Pelts and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation for Betty will be 6:00 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 11, at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 12 at Strawberry Assembly of God Church, with Bro. George Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Minnow Creek Cemetery with Christopher Sanders, Larry (Digger) Sanders, Terry Pelts, Ethan Sanders, Toby Pelts, and Cole Sanders serving as pallbearers.

Betty has been such a good friend over the years. She will be missed very much. Prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
I will never forget the many times our family came and stayed the weekends with Betty and Richard! such great memories! i’m sure you guys are all playing music and singing up there with so much family! My dad and mom loved you so much!! I will always cherish the memories and love shownâ¤ï¸
