Sydney ''Cindy'' Leona Chatman, 60, of Mountain View, Arkansas died April 15th, 2022 from the final stages of COPD. She was born in Madera, California, on April 30th, 1961 to Peggy (Young) Carmichael and the late Harold Lee Winningham, and was loved by James Carmichael, her stepfather, as if she was his own daughter. Sydney was loved by many and if you just smiled at her, she immediately counted you as a friend. She loved intensely and was a fierce ally if anyone did you harm. Her biggest fear was something happening to her family and so she would hold on just a little bit tighter. And everyone knew not to mess with her prized possession; her big black ram pickup. Known to many as the Rock Lady or Sydney but to her family she would always be ''Cindy'' and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brad Chatman, of 28 years, whom she adored with every bit of her heart. Other survivors include her mother, Peggy Carmichael; her two sons, Nicholas Schlote and Lonnie Fouts III, five sisters Suellen Tutt and husband Tom of Onia, AR, Jennifer Carmichael of Mountain View, AR, Roberta Bolin, Tonya Wallace, and Carmella Lee Heskett of Wapanucka, Ok and a stepbrother; Marvin Carmichael from Louisiana. Two nieces; Melissa Sutton and husband Aaron, Leanne Martell and husband Jeremy. One nephew; Hubert (J.R.) Engle III and wife Angela and three great nephews; Hunter Jack Sutton, Sebastian Martell, and Riley Sutton along with one great niece: Auri Yielding who was her Lil Miss, the apple of her eye all of Mountain View, AR.
She was preceded in death by her father Harold Winningham and stepfather James Carmichael, and brother Steve Winningham.
