Daniel Dean Mason, 84, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Daniel was born on Friday, October 1, 1937 in Flagler, Iowa to the late Dee Mason and Ester Johnson Mason.

Mr. Mason served our country in the United States Army for three years. He was a gun enthusiast, a proud member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and racing sprint cars. Daniel worked for John Deere as a machinist for many years.

Left to cherish his memory are, his loving wife, Maxine Mason; two sons, David Mason of Pleasantville, Iowa, Anthony Mason of Pleasantville, Iowa; one daughter, Lori Mason(Jay Welch) of Ottumwa, Iowa; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Etta and Julia; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Mason is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Mason; son, Dee Mason; daughter, Julie Weidner; son-in-law, Eric Weidner; two daughters-in law, Diana Mason, Lana Mason.

A memorial service for Mr. Mason will be 2PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Brother Junior Barham will officiate.
