Anna Catherine Webster, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home in Elaine, Arkansas. She was born December 1, 1947 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Catherine Lenora Reidenbaugh and Thomas Earl Inebnit. Anna was a member of Elaine Baptist Church where she played piano and organ as well as instructed Vacation Bible School. She attended Arkansas State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education then graduated with her Masters as a Reading Specialist and was an educator for 34 years in Phillips County.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lucien Anderson Webster; three daughters, Anne Bray (Rob) of Rogers, Arkansas, Nancy Webster of Elaine, and Diane Watson (Luke) of Elaine; five grandchildren, Bryce Bray (Chandler), Abby Bray, Maggie-Cate Bray, Andersyn Watson, and Alyson Watson; sister in law, Linda Inebnit of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Thomas Earl Inebnit, Jr.
A funeral service for Mrs. Anna Webster will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Elaine Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church as well. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas. Brother Luke Watson and Brother Cliff Bernard will officiate.

I had of heard of Anna's passing, and just found it but Mr. Webster I want you to know that Saturday my wife and I ran into you and Anna was some of the best hours we spent in Elaine in over 50 years. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, because the last words she spoke to us, were ya'll come back and we will get together for lunch, or something, and we hadn't seen either of ya'll in over 50 years. So saddened to hear this about my cousin. We were born within three months of each other and when younger we were close. Time changes those things as life changes. She was always full of love for her family and full of life. You will be missed greatly.

I'm so sorry for your loss of a wife and mother. Mrs Webster as we knew to call her or we would have to deal with Coach Webster was a wonderful teacher to all her students. My sister Joann had the privilege of working with her at the elementary. She will be so dearly miss by so many of us Elaine folks even if we did move on. I was saddened to learn of Anna’s passing. I fondly remember my first year of teaching, which was at Elaine HS, and which was also Anna’s first year of teaching at Elaine Elementary School. Anna was a friendly person and always had a sweet, welcoming smile. I also enjoyed my friendship with Lucien at Elaine, often playing basketball with him and other teachers against the high school players. The Inebnit family was always kind to me, and I enjoyed teaching Tommy for two years. My thoughts and prayers go with each of you through this difficult time.
