Mary Emaline Goff Collins, age 80 of Leslie, Arkansas left her earthly life on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born in Decherd, Tennessee on August 11, 1941 to the late Jack Landis Goff and Mary Lucille Smith Goff. Mary is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Polly Anna Rice; grandson, Keegan Lee Hoffman; and sister, Penny Goff Stephens.
Mary enjoyed photography, genealogy, writing poems and traveling, especially to Alaska. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Marshall.
She has left behind her loving and devoted husband, John Collins, whom she married in 1969; her siblings, Patricia Goff, Patrick Mullican and Ashley Walker, all of Tennessee; children, Cara Benson (Jeff) of North Little Rock, Tim Rice (Darla) of Grass Valley, California, Vincent Rice of Hot Springs, Heidi Beck of Malvern, James Collins (Tammy) of Springfield, Missouri and Emily Engelbrecht (Matt) of Wasilla, Alaska; grandchildren, Joshua Massey (Stephanie) of Maumelle, Jacob Benson of North Little Rock, Elizabeth Holder (Stephen) of Sheridan, Sarah Miller of North Little Rock, Parker Rice of Grass Valley, California, Vince Rice of Fort Smith, Jonathan Rice of Van Buren, Janet Beck of Traskwood, Rachel Conger (David) of Malvern, Paxton Engelbrecht and Keeton Engelbrecht, both of Wasilla, Alaska; great-grandchildren, Brody and Kylie Massey, Bela Benson, Londyn Remington, Jude Holder, Kaydi and Kensey Allen, Ethan, Mason and Beau Conger; and cherished extended family and friends.
Memorial services for Mary will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Marshall, Arkansas with Pastor Ross Harris and Pastor Ron Woolsey officiating.
I was shocked and sad to hear of Mary's passing. Life is so short. My heart goes out to her husband, John, and family.
I sure hated to hear of Mary's passing I enjoyed working with her at the nursing home sending our thoughts and prayers
