Ruby Nell (Clay) Barker 89, of Pangburn, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2022. She was born to the late Emmet Greene Clay and Nora Elizabeth (Beals) Clay on December 22, 1932. Ruby had an impact on each person she met and will be missed greatly. Her memory will live on from here on out through her surviving family members.
Ruby is survived by her sons Alford (Bud) Barker and one special daughter-in-law, Phyllis and Lester Howell; daughter Sarah Walker (James); 21 grandkids; and 30 great grand kids along many nieces, nephews and other extended family members and her church family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred Anderson Barker; daughter Martha Rowe (Kenneth); sisters Emmer Tilldie (Clay) Baldwin, Idera Ellen (Clay) Wallace husband Buster Wallace, and Mary Elizabeth (Clay) Cox husband Jessie Cox; brothers George Ann Clay wife Sara Clay and Harvey Marsh Clay; grandson James Curtis Walker; and an infant grandson.
Ruby enjoyed all aspects of her life. Her favorite thing to do was attend church. She also loved quilting, crafting, fishing, her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Some of her hobbies included gardening, word searches, watching westerns, and camping. Out of all the precious memories of Ruby, the funniest and most memorable was the day she ended up rolling down a hill in her wheelchair.
