Sandra Joan Dykes, 74, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Venita Dykes. She is survived by her brother, Leslie Dykes (Pat) of Little Rock.
Graveside services will be held at Crossroads Cemetery in Kingsland, Arkansas at a later date.

My heart is breaking, my little blondie. I miss you so much already. I was just a baby nurse when we met & you took me under your wing & taught me so much. I cried when you retired & now to find out you have passed. The countless concerts, lunches & dinners, the stories you told,the laughs I shared with you, I will forever cherish. I am just in such disbelief right now. I will love you always Blondie

I knew Joan was in poor health, but her death was a shock. She was always concerned about family and family heritage. She took care of hundreds of patients in her life's calling as a nurse, probably to her own detriment.
