Andy Stone, 67 of Little Rock passed away on February 9, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1954, in Garland, Texas to Howard and Sue Stone. Andy was a Christian man, and his life demonstrated that. He enjoyed travel, especially to Key West and New Orleans. He also enjoyed camping in his RV, riding his Can Am Spyder, reading, and eating out with friends. He was a gentle, kind spirit who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard, and Sue Stone. He leaves his best friend and roommate, Randy Stegall; two sons Chris and Katy Stone, and AJ Stone; three granddaughters Cady, Hannah, and Zooey Stone; brother Zeb Stone; sister Kelly Fleet. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arkansas Food Bank. Andy often donated to this organization. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Contact Randy Stegall for more details.
Andy and I played in the tuba section in the UCA BAND. He was always very nice and a real gentleman. During our freshman year we marched in the Inaugural parade for Richard Nixon. All my memories of Andy are very pleasant and positive. He was just an extremely nice and polite person.
Andy was an awesome person and a good friend. He will be missed.

I have worked with Andy for over 30 years at DIS and considered him a friend. Even on Andy's bad days he would stop me in the hall to talk and I would ask How you doing Andy which he would always say I am just fine. He was so respected and loved at DIS. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
