Dyess resident, Rickey Dale Long, 61 died February 7, 2022 in Jonesboro, AR, with family by his side. Rick was born December 16, 1960 in Charleston, IL, to Donald and Jewell (Daniels) Long. Rick worked many years as a roofer but spent most of his working years farming. Rick is survived by his sisters: Patty Long, Connie Long and Tereasa Long Noblin (Tim); brother: Jeff Long (Michelle). Rick leaves behind the mothers of his children: Laura Long and Kimberly Brown; 5 daughters: Stephanie McClain (Chad), Latosha Sparks, (Chris), Kacey Hatley (Greg), Hailey Long and Tereasa Jewell Long; 10 grandchildren: Karissa May, Kathelyn May, Joshua May, Dakota Miles, Greenley Miles, Christian Sparks, Remington Sparks, Skyler Dobbins, Brittany Long and Serenity Long. Rick is preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Jewell; brothers: Donald Ray and Lester Earl; great-grandchild: Gabriel Kirkpatrick.
