Jo L. James, age 72 of West Helena, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Helena Regional Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1949 in Illinois to the late Graple Grantham Heathcock and Boyd Oliver Cheek.
She is survived by her two sons, Ivan Crabtree (Dana) and Timothy Crabtree (Laura); five grandchildren, Jonathan Crabtree, Timothy Mathias, Benjamin, Billy, and Debra; four sisters, Anita Dennis (James Box), Jackye Wilder (Joe), Cecilia Kerst (Paul), and Donna Anderson (Louie); two special nieces, Marie Scott and Meredith Miller (Brett); one special nephew, Michael Cheek (Jenny); a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jay Cheek; two sisters, Trudy DePriest and Dorothy Parks.
A memorial service for Mrs. Jo James will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.

We went to Barton school and worked at the chemical plant together . Been knowing her most of my life. She was a very nice person. Rest In Peace Jo .â¤ï¸
