Mary Nell Moffitt 87, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1934 to the late B. C. Mote and Opal Norman Mote. She was loved greatly by her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband Elzie L. Moffitt; son Timmy (Michele) Moffitt; daughter Pamela (Andy) Roberson; grandchildren Cody (Allison) Roberson, Dustin (Sarah) Moffitt, and Aaron Moffitt (Kelsey); great grandchild Layton Roberson; brothers Jerry (Shirley) Mote and Keith Mote; sisters Alta Mote and Dianna Davis; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, James Darrell Mote, David Mote, Jackie Mote, Coy Mote, and Don Mote.
Mary lived a long a fulfilling life. She attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church for over 30 years and enjoyed attending the monthly women's meetings there. She had many hobbies like cooking, sewing, and especially enjoyed travelling to Branson. Above everything else, Mary loved her family. She always looked forward to the grandkids coming to visit and spending time with them.
A visitation will be held at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church at 10:00am with an internment to follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
