Celebrating his life remembering all the good times we had together. Heaven is rejoicing to bring another child home with God. I can only image the great celebration going on as he meets dad, uncle Windel, Raymond and Hazel and all the rest of the family.
Home at last, Thank God Almighty he’s home at last.
Will miss him greatly down here but feel a little “jealousâ€
He’s healed, free and delivered
Until we meet again some sweet day What a homecoming that will be

Sister Mary,
Meri and I are sadden to hear about Brother Gearl. He was truly an example of what we all should strive for as a man of God. He was a true servant to his country, neighbors, community, Church and to you. We will all miss him but I know that he is getting all the benefits of what he believed and taught with Jesus Christ. His example has provided myself and others to be stronger in our faith and to battle through the hard times because the reward is immeasurable.
I just wanted to let you know that Post Oak Grove and all he has touched are better because of him. Meri and I love you and will continue to hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Gearl had a special gift of teaching and making everyone feel special. He has served as teacher, associate pastor, trustee, etc. at Pine Mountain General Baptist Church. Gearl & Mary also worked at Formosa Youth Camp and were on many committees and boards in Post Oak Grove Association. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Condolences to the family.
