Dale Utah Lynch

of Clinton, AR

April 17, 1937 - January 7, 2022

Dale Utah Lynch, age 84, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Dale was born on April 17, 1937 in Searcy County, Arkansas, to parents Guy and Pearl Lynch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Pearl Lynch; two brothers, U.D. and Buster Lynch; three sisters, Ruby, Lucille and Wylodean; and daughter Pearl Ann Burger of Niles, Michigan.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Rena Sue Lynch of Clinton; his son, Jason Dale Lynch and wife Keisha of Clinton, grandchildren Savannah Lynch and fiancé Charleston Sowell, Corbin Lynch and Nick Burger; and several members of his large extended family.

Dale grew up in the Morning Star area of Searcy County where he attended school and worked on his father's farm. From a young age up until he and his wife Rena planted roots in Van Buren County and opened the Dari-Diner in Choctaw, he was a drywaller all over the country. Drywall led him from Searcy County to New Jersey, Indiana and eventually Fairbanks Alaska where he opened Dale Lynch Drywall Sales and Service in the late 70's and early 80's. Upon returning to Clinton, he opened Lynch's Super Stop (currently Alon) in Choctaw and in 1988 decided to run for Van Buren County Judge where he was elected and remained in office until 2002 where he retired. Since retirement he had focused his energy on his wife, grandchildren and farm, and was the lead flyswatter and door greeter at his son's business in Clinton (Elite Automotive) where he always had a story for everyone he met.

A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 6:00 at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Arkansas.

The family has asked that flowers may be sent to Mrs. Rena at her home.

My sincere condolences. Were it not for Dale and a couple of his relatives, my parents and my family might not have made it to Arkansas.

I could go on at length, but I’ll just summarize by saying a great man has left us.

RIP, good sir…

I truly hate this for you guys, but we all must go one day and I’m dreading that day that I’m in your shoes. Keep close to the Lord because He is the only one that can get you through this with the help of family and friends. I love you guys and I definitely will be praying for you. I won’t be able to make the service, but just know that I will be praying. Love you guys!

We were so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I always considered him a friend and he certainly helped us often at Friendship Baptist, Clinton when we were building a new auditorium. He went beyond what was intended to help us. I always thought of him as a good man and he did a great job as County Judge. Prayers for his family and friends
