Michael, "Mike" Evatt, age 67, of Mabelvale died Thursday, January 6, 2022. Mike was a talented Heavy Equipment Operator. He always said that it was a God given gift and would teach anyone willing to learn. He retired from Pulaski County Road and Bridge and the City of Little Rock Public Works.
Mike loved to hunt - it was his passion throughout his life. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing just being in the woods, teaching his wife and grandkids meant a lot to him especially his "baby girl", Maddie who filled his heart and life with joy.
Kathy Evatt, his wife, was the love of his life. They had many happy, wonderful years together. Mike and Kathy enjoyed many hunting and fishing adventures - always together until the end.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Kathy Evatt, sons Sean Evatt and Chad (Amy) Evatt, their mother Janie Evatt, a brother, Terry Evatt, a sister, Brenda Wilson, a nephew, Shane Lewis, nieces, April and Kimberly, cousins Charlene and David Stills, grandchildren: Caitlyn, Brady, Abby, Trevor, Charlie, Maddie "Baby Girl", Jamie, Ariana and a host of family and friends .
Funeral service will be held, 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 10 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service on Monday at Concord Cemetery in Furlow, AR.
