Deona Lea (Frantzen) Elms was born November 21, 1970 in Moberly, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Karen (Esry) Frantzen. She passed away December 23, 2021 at her home in Coal Hill, Arkansas, at the age of 51. Deona was a faithful servant to her Lord Jesus Christ, she attended church at Coal Hill First Baptist and Hartman United Methodist Church. She was a True Prayer Warrior for everyone. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards and board games. Deona was an avid sports mom-grandma, she always cheered the loudest and ALWAYS had her Cowbell. Her love for her family, church family and friends were undeniable.
Deona is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Karen (Esry) Frantzen.
She leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Jerold Elms of the home; two sons, Zack Yates of Clarksville and Jerod Elms of Coal Hill; one stepson, Robert Elms; one grandson, River Yates of Clarksville; one brother, Mason Frantzen of Moberly, Missouri; three sisters, Deanna Sly of Moberly, Missouri, Denita Fox of Moberly, Missouri and Delesa Frantzen of Moberly, Missouri, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Hartman United Methodist Church in Hartman, Arkansas, funeral service will follow with Rev. Gina Hamlin officiating. Burial will be at Hartman Cemetery.

I really don't know what to say, I am at a complete loss for words. Deona had became such a wonderful friend to me. Things won't be the same without her. This was such a shock, Deona was our niece and we both loved her. She was a lively, active, loving person that we didn't get to see often enough.
