Betty Louise Phillips Smith, 81, of Damascus was born on October 22, 1940 to the late David W. and Beatrice (Wood) Phillips in Damascus, Arkansas and passed from this life on December 21, 2021 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She was a devout member of the Choctaw Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Will Smith, one brother, Charles Phillips and one sister, Emilee Anderson.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Mike Phillips, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and helped to raise. Betty also leaves a multitude of telephone friends, neighbors and other relatives whom she dearly loved.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the funeral home with interment following at Pine Mountain Cemetery.

Mike and family I am so sorry for your loss I can't help but think about Betty I loved her so much she was always good to me and my mom and I know how much she loved my sons I have good memories of Betty when I was young it breaks my heart that she is gone.
