I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray that the family will truly experience God’s overwhelming love and peace during this time. I didn’t know Emory well but her smile could light up the room for sure. Zachary definitely enjoyed time spent with your family when he would hang out with Jackson. Prayers for strength and comfort for all of you during this time.

We are so very sorry about the passing of our dear friend. She was one of a kind and we were so blessed with the time we had together. Such an earth Angel, always trying to help and check on others not even eluding when her battle was so big. We know she is a heavenly Angel now but also how very much she will be missed. If there’s anything at all we can do please let us know. Our deepest sympathies and prayers for peace. May God be with you all.

I am so sorry for your loss! She was such a light to others, and the world will be a little darker without her in it. Yet, I know the angels are singing in heaven! I was lucky to work at FMIS with Emory. I also had both Jackson & Channing in my literacy classes in 6th grade. They were a joy to have in class, in large part I'm sure, because of the example of their parents. My heart goes out to both of them and all her family! I'll be praying for you all.

I am so sad to hear the passing of Emory Thorn. She was such a sweet lady I got to know after having her son, Jackson, in class. She was so sweet and served our kids with a smile at school when she worked at FMIS. She will always be remembered as a very precious lady to us here at FMIS.

My deepest sympathy for her family and friends as she was truly one of the “good ones” . We grew up together and stayed in touch over the years. She was a true friend! I will miss her terribly and will catch myself speaking like her from time to time so she had a huge impact on my life! She made me a better person! We use to pray together as kids and she loved her little bunny and her cat Muffin! My heart breaks writing this. May God be with you Emory! See you in heaven my sister in christ!

I have no doubt that God brought Emory and I together. We grew up in our twenties together, in maturity and grew in our relationship with Christ together. She was always eager to grow closer to Christ, as was I. I will always cherish the time I had with her and I'm honored to have called her my friend. God broke the mold when he made her beautiful soul. I can't wait to see her again some day. I will love her always.

I hate cancer. It doesn't care who it takes no matter how much we love them. My heart and prayers go out to all who love and will miss her. She was always a beautiful soul, and it doesn't matter that it's been 19 years since the last time I hugged her at my father's funeral. He's probably already teased her about something knowing Pop. I don't think he ever called her her real name lol, I think it was "Emerett " . I love thinking back to those days, Mr John Mrs Marge and Kristi, I have always felt of you as family.
