Fanna Jane Shaver, age 91 of Clinton, Arkansas passed away on October 19, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 7, 1929 in Weston, West Virginia to George and Sylvia Girod. She married the love of her life, John Howard Shaver on December 21, 1948 and they had seven children: Peggy, Janice, Marie, Buck, Donna, Anna, and Clay, and she raised Clayton Shaver as her own. Always strong and brave, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by children: Marie Moon (Tim), John Shaver (Diane), Donna Griggs (Danny), Anna Hillyer, Clay Shaver, Clayton Shaver (Katelyn) and son-in-law Don Noyes; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John Howard Shaver, her daughters, Peggy Shaver and Janice Noyes, her parents George and Sylvia Girod and her six siblings.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation which will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Roller McNutt funeral home in Clinton, with funeral services immediately following at 11:00. Burial will follow at Hunter Hill Cemetery in Clinton.
