On September 12, 2021 Charles Dale Robison, at the age of 85, passed from this life with wife and daughters at his side at the Twin Lakes Nursing Home.
Charles was born at Caney, Arkansas where he lived most of his life. He spent 2 years in the U.S. Army, came home, and married Carolyn Jones. They were married for 63 years. He retired from Yellville-Summit School after 25 years to take up his hobby of woodworking. His grandchildren got most of everything he made.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; three daughters: Charita (Kevin) Gregory of Yellville, Cay (Steve) Davenport of Yellville, Christi (Darren) of Mexico, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Zach Davenport, Blade Davenport, Cooper Gregory, Cierra Colins, Caitlyn Bickel, Chania Horn, Chayla Hoffman, Belle Hoffman College of the Ozarks; four great-grandchildren: Brantley Bickel, Brynn Bickel, Henry Horn, Oakley Davenport, (Charles called her Post Oak); one sister Mary Branch from Bull Shoals.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Lilly Robison. grandchild Ethan Cord Davenport; six brothers: Ray, Robert, Noah, Cornie , Warren, and Clarence; two sisters Kathryn Ezell and Edna Williamson; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at the Caney Church of Christ Saturday September 18, 2021 at 10:00 am. There will be no service at the cemetery. Inside church only.
Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville
