RIP to a friend from camp Robinson days. Prayer for the family.
Jerry was such a kind and thoughtful man. He was always willing to help even though he may not be feeling his best. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I will miss a very good friend but know he has gone to higher places.
“Boom stowed†leaving position.
A true professional in law enforcement and the military! I flew with Pee Wee many times in the Arkansas Air Guard. It was always comforting to know Pee Wee was in the KC 135 boom pod passing gas. The mission debriefs would always end up a party when he was there. We have lost a special man. May God comfort his family and many friends. RIP good buddy!

Sorry for your loss Jimmy and family
Jerry was so much fun to be around at our meetings and functions. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve seen him but I sure do remember his great humor and just a shining person to be around. Miss ya brother.
Mixed emotions as I read these tributes to Jerry. Smiling at the anecdotes and vignettes, weeping at the sense of loss—not only for individuals, families, and communities, but also for humanity at large. Truth! This world is a better place because Jerry Reinold lived, and it’s seriously diminished by his death. But we grieve not as those who have no hope. As many have said already, we will see Jerry again. We will. Meanwhile, to Pat, Michelle, and Heather—whom I adore—I wish grace and peace and the blessing of God’s own presence as you walk through this dark valley. Please know that we are all walking with you…and we are here when you need us. â¤ï¸
Pee Wee we Abbott’s have loved you forever!

I will always remember how you enlivened the bus ride to and from Sylvan Hills from Camp Robinson. The world will miss your good heart.
I grew up with Jerry and his brothers. His family was like my second family. He was a great friend and will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace my friend!

I grew up with Jerry in Camp Robinson, graduated with him from Sylvan Hills HS, and served with him in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a can-do, will-do kind of guy and a lot of fun to be around. I am very sorry to see him go. RIP Jerry.
Jerry was a great neighbor to our family for almost 5 years, and as busy as we are- passing his house back and forth multiple times a day- he ALWAYS waved at us while he sat on the patio. He was fond of our son Maverick, and every time we drove by Maverick would yell, “Hi, Jerry!â€
I’ve caught myself looking that way since he passed, and we’ll all miss him.
Pat, we love you very much. Please remember we’re not far away.
Pee Wee and I were friends and high school classmates. He was always smiling and generating laughs for all of those within hearing distance. Prayers for his family. RIP Jerry “Pee Weeâ€
Jerry was a good friend to both Deronda and me... a very nice guy... He came up behind Deronda at one of the class reunions and she squealed and said "That must be Pee Wee". He answered and said "They don't call me that anymore". in answer she said he would always be Pee Wee to her, he will be missed.
A fine man and fun to be around. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace, Jerry.
Pee Wee will be greatly missed. We had a lot of good times together and he was always an inspiration to those of us he came in contact with. Rest In Peace Friend.
RIP JERRY.
I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was a dear friend of my dad, Jim Beach. I met him years ago and he remained a close family friend. He was a joy to be around. That smile...... Will miss him. Prayers for comfort and peace to all of the family.
RIP Warrior. You were a gift to all those that met you and served with you. Your smile and personality were infectious. I am honored to have crossed paths with you.
We are thinking of you during this rough time. We always smile when we think of Jerry.
Jerry has been my next door neighbor for 20 years. It started with Jerry and Polly and ended with Jerry and Pat. So many fond memories of this family. Jerry was loud, funny, strong, honest, friendly, and a good cook. He cared about everybody. I’m going to miss him setting on the patio. I’m really going to miss him mowing that yard every other day! LOL. Great memories and a great friend. Love to all of his family, Carol
May you Rest In Peace my friend, Boom Stowed Leaving PositionðŸ™
A legend, a dedicated friend to all who knew him, Master Sergeant (Retired) Jerry (Pee Wee) Reinold has departed the Air Refueling Orbit. Jerry was a superb Inflight Refueling Boom Operator on KC-135s and KC-10s with the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. He was also retired from decades of outstanding service with the Arkansas State Police. I was blessed and honored to serve Our Nation with Jerry and survived, where every mission, everyday, was an unforgettable adventure. A Veteran of hundreds of air refueling missions in the Middle East, Jerry always got it done, His Way! Buddy, it’s going to be tough not having you around but we’ll see your contrails across the sky and know they are yours and we’ll be thinking of you.
May Our Lord give Pat, Michelle, and Family comfort and understanding. May you Rest In Peace My Brother, My Best Friend and may we have another “cold beer from Miller†soon.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for comfort for you all.
Prayers for the family; he was in my high school class in 1965 and we served together in the AR ANG. RIP Pee Wee!
Jerry will truly be missed. I have fond memories of deer hunting with him. All my condolences to the Reinold family.
Boom Operators are always high in the sky. Rest In Peace and reach for the stars.
To the Reinold Family:
Very sad to hear about Jerry's passing. Like Bill Mullenax, Bill Mitchell, Tommy Goodwin, and Jerry Roberts, he was a trooper's trooper, unlike today. Jerry was one who would not cover up bad behavior or dishonesty by coworkers. A man of high integrity!!!
I met Jerry in Spring 1977 just after he'd replaced my mentor, O.H. "Bill" Mullenax, as ASP Public Information Officer. I was going to write the "History of the Arkansas State Police", for Public Administration Class at UCA on my first Bachelor's Degree.
Bill made arrangements for me and I went down to interview Jerry at the original HQ on Roosevelt Road. Jerry spent the better part of 2 hours plus with me going over material for my term paper, which I sent him a copy.
He carried me from the Road Patrol Act of 1929, through the Rangers, and into the State Police days.
Next time I spoke with him was a few years ago when we both were in physical therapy at Greenbrier. We were able to catch up on each other since that first visit in 1977.
We both shared a mutual distaste of corruption, total incompetence, & the lack of integrity that has entered the peace officer field, (esp. A.S.P.) that now exists.
I wish I could have seen Jerry one more time; & over a good lunch.
The state of Arkansas & the Peace Officer field has lost a great man & peace officer. The country needs a lot more men & peace officers like Jerry Reinhold.
