November 10, 1952 - September 2, 2021
Gwendolyn Louise Freeman (Eddy) was born on November 10, 1952, in Jerusalem, Arkansas. She passed from this world on September 2, 2021, at the age of 68.
Gwen was fiercely independent, her family meant everything to her, and she fought until her last breath to stay with them. She had a fondness for caring for animals, she liked to share memories of growing up in Jerusalem, and she made the best macaroni & cheese on the planet. Gwen was employed with Power Technology for 30 years as a laser technician.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents Jerrell and Louise Eddy. She is survived by her children Stephanie Fink (Kevin) of Benton, AR; Chris Sontag and Shawnna Morrison of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Zanna and Presley Fink, Destiny Jackson (Cody), and Dalton Morrison; and great-grandchildren, Cody and Carsen Jackson, and Clara, expected in September; two brothers, Roger Eddy and Doug Eddy (Kim) both of Little Rock; and a host of other family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her work family at Power Technology.
A Celebration of Gwen's life will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jerusalem, AR.
My heart is breaking as I have so many times over the last several years searched for Gwen. I worked with her in the 70's and lived with her during that time. We were very close. Stephanie was 2 years old. I loved her and hate that we lost contact. I'm so, so sorry that I didn't find her sooner. God Bless you Stephanie and your family.
William and I wanted you all to know how much Gwen will be missed. She was not only an employee at Power Technology but considered a family member. We appreciate all the years she was with us and want you all to know how grateful we are to have known her. May God give you all peace and strength today and the days ahead. â¤ï¸
