Gary W. Shaw, age 76, of Little Rock passed away August 23rd, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was born at home near Swifton, Arkansas to Verner and Maxine Victory Shaw.
He was an avid fisherman and loved watching all sports, especially the Razorbacks. Riding motorcycles was another passion of his, especially hill climbing and off road Riding. When he was younger, Gary participated in baseball, basketball, tennis, golf and track events.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea as an aircraft mechanic. After leaving the army he worked for Rock Island railroad until their closure then worked for Missouri Pacific railroad. After leaving Missouri Pacific he worked at various jobs until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father Verner Shaw, sisters Ruth Ann Shaw and Audrey Fohn. He is survived by his mother Maxine Victory Shaw, daughter Tammy Anuszek, grandchildren Chasity Hoyle and grandson Christopher Anuszek with whom he spent countless hours fishing and watching sports. He is also survived by brothers, Don (Gloria), Vernon (Karen) and David (Charlotte).
No visitation planned, private graveside service, with military honors, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas 10:00 A.M. Friday August 27, 2021.
The family would like to thank V.A. Hospice and all doctors and nurses that cared for Gary during his journey.

Shaw Family: Gary was my classmate at Fuller High School. Gary was very nice & a sweet guy to all. Sad to hear of his passing. Prayers & condolences to his family.

I have very fond memories of my uncle Gary. I loved listening to him play guitar . We shared a love for fishing. He will be missed by those that loved him.
