Peacefully and triumphantly joined her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2021.
Preceded in death by her parents Hushell P and Wilma(Bowren) Johnson, sister Alene Asbell and her beloved husband of 39 years, Thomas H McCord. She leaves behind 2 daughters, Sondra C Johnson and Charlotte Y Moudy and her precious granddaughter, Stephanie Weatherington and husband Ted.
The family wishes to thank Baptist Hospice for their kindness and care especially Mary Beth, Alisha, Connie and Amy.

Sondra and Charlotte,
I was so sorry to read of Veradean's death. She was so special to my mom and dad and I know you will miss her every day. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and know you are in my thoughts. No matter how long they live, we never have our parents long enough.
