Mary Ann Pappas of Mountain Home passed away, July 3, 2021, in Mountain. Home at the age of 79 years. She was born in Flippin, Arkansas. The daughter of Lucian & Della Melton. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a pay roll manager and accountant for many years in Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Michael Pappas of Mtn. Home, Sisters: Carol Bobrycki (Steve), Linda Sawyer of Mtn. Home, Sister Kathleen Johnson of Gassville, Brother, Terry Melton (Sandi) of Flippin, Nieces and Nephew's Penny Blanton of Diamond City, Leslie Sasser(Joey)of Yellville, Lisa Walling (Ernie) of Kennard, Texas. Nephews Scotty Melton (Dawn) of Flippin, Dwayne Johnson (Shannon) of Harrison, Misty Popejoy (Russell) of Aledo, Texas, Donna Parton (Marty) of Berryville, Tammy Batterton (Terry) of Viola, AR, Kevin Melton of Springdale, Kendel Melton of Harrison, Kelley Don Hurst of Flippin, Michael Hurst of Flippin, Barry Haley (Michelene) of Fayetteville, Beth Tate (Ben) of Mtn. Home, and as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Myrtle (Melton) Adams, Father Lucian Melton, Mother Della Duggins Melton, two brothers: Donald (Butch) Melton and Richard Melton.

Graveside Services will be officiated by Pastor Kem Reeder on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Layton Cemetery in Yellville at 1:00 P.M..

Roller-Burns Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
