Richard James Bogart, age 84 years, of Flippin passed away on July 1, 2021. He was born on August 23, 1936 to George and Amelia (Simon) Bogart in Duluth, Minnesota and was of the Catholic faith.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret and Paratrooper. He retired as a Quality Engineer for Lockheed Aircraft.
He was united in marriage to Norma Beagle on December 2, 1972.
His greatest passion was fishing. He enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his leisure time, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and card games. Previously, he was a youth baseball coach. He loved and cared for the neighborhood cats.
He is survived by sons: Pierre Bogart of Larimore, ND, Kirk Bogart of California, Brian Bogart (Karen) of East Grand Forks, Minnesota and step-son: Danny Conner of Tell City, Indiana; stepdaughters: Debra Harrison of Battle Ground Washington, Linda Darlene of Venture, California and Sandra Westover of Flippin, Arkansas; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Norma, whom he spoiled; brothers: George, and Bobby.

A gathering of friends will be held at the Roller Burns Roller Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 3:00 - 5 :00 pm.

Dick and Norma were some of our closest friends. We always had a great time together. We loved them both so much. Dick and I were the last ones left out of the Friday bunch original supper club. We always supported each other. We will miss him and his beautiful smile so much.
