To the family of Fern Duncan, I extend my sincere sympathy. She was a remarkable lady. I was married to a cousin, Jimmy Johnson, of Conway, for many years. I know the Johnson family was one of high moral character and Fern lived a life that exemplified that moral authority. I traveled to her home (from Springdale) about seven years ago collecting information on the Johnson family. She was a wealth of knowledge. I do hope someone in the family will continue to nurture her information and make it available to all the Quitman Johnsons. Sincerely yours, Phyllis Jo Johnson
