Harold Lynn Smith, 72, of Wilson, AR, died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. He was born March 2, 1949, in Dyess, AR, to Homer Harold and Eloise Ruby Smith. He was a member of the Wilson First Baptist Church. Harold received a Bachelors of Science in Business at Arkansas State University, and was a volunteer for the Wilson Fire Department. He served in the Army, retired from the United States Postal Service in Blytheville, AR, and was a retired bus driver for the Rivercrest School District. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delores Gladden Smith; son: Wesley Lynn (LaDonna) Smith; daughters: Mandy Richardson and Jennifer White; sisters: Pat (LA) Fraley, Brenda Slack and Kathy (Marty) McClure; grandchildren: Ryan Smith, Tyler Smith, Austin White, Brooklyn White, Jimmer Smith, Nikki Johnson, Madilynn Johnson, Kenadi Raines and host of other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Mike Smith.

I grew up, with Lynn, at Whitton. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He and his family were always kind to the annoying little neighbor boy. My prayers are with the Smith family. I know he was a great guy.
