Joyce Kay Bowlin departed this earth on April 14, 2021, surrounded by her children. Joyce was a member of the Lorance Drive Church of Christ.
Joyce married her high school sweetheart, Donald Keith Bowlin, when they were seniors at North Little Rock High School. She graduated in 1960. Keith and Joyce were married 47 years. She leaves wonderful memories as a great mother to Sheila Killgore (Doug), Bill Bowlin and Stephanie Skarda (Todd). The family would like to express their deepest thanks to our friends, relatives and co-workers who helped us with so much love this past year. Also, our family owes much love and praise to the Saline County Hospice, Gina, Christy and Sherry and her caregivers Jennifer, Nicole, and Cindy.

Our condolences to the Bowlin family. Ms. Joyce was always kind and had a smile on her face. She was a good friend to my Mom, Elwanda Gould. She will be missed.
My heart is just breaking into pieces I can't believe this wonderful person is gone. She will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to family.
My deepest condolences to Sheila, Bill, Stephanie and your families. Your mom always showed me such kindness and hospitality. Her devotion to the Lord and to her family was a blessing and an inspiration.
My wife and I pray God's peace and comfort on each you.
Dear family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I know how much you loved her and that she will be sorely missed.
From the moment I met Joyce I loved her. To me she was the epitome of a Christian, a woman, a wife and a mother. In these things, she was a role model to me and continues to be a strong influence in my life today.
Her Christian love for others overflowed and I saw this anytime Joyce came into contact with another. She ALWAYS complimented them in some way and it was so sincere and personal. The other things I learned from her are too numerous to list here, but know she is rarely far from my heart or mind.
I pray that you are all at peace knowing she is resting in her beloved Savior’s arms and is reunited with her sweetheart Mr. B. What a glorious reunion!
Love and strong virtual hugs,
Kim Peters

Our prayers are with the family of Joyce and Keith. Remembering them in high school.
Its always sad to loose a classmate. I remember Joyce and Donald well from NLRHS...Donald and I ran track together and went to the Razorback vs. Hardin Simmons football game free as a reward for running in the State Cross Country Meet.
Praying for your family during this time.
