Bobby W. Chappell, 81, of England, Arkansas went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 27, 2021. He was born May 1, 1939 in Cardon Bottom, Arkansas to Loyd and Julia Robinson Chappell. He grew up in the Altheimer area and graduated from Altheimer High School.
He was a lifelong member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill, Arkansas where he served as deacon.
He was in the trucking business where he owned and operated Bobby Chappell Trucking. Through his many years in the business he made many wonderful friends. He was one of those who never met a stranger. Wherever he and his family traveled he always ran into someone he knew.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Linda Goad Chappell, his wife of 62 years, his daughters, Lisa Hartwick and her husband Grady of England, Arkansas and Suanne Chappell of England, Arkansas. He was Pappy to his precious grandchildren, Teresa Carlton and Lance Cauley and his great grandsons, Jacob and Rhett Carlton who he referred to as his little dudes.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 29, 2021 at First Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill. Bro. Chris Foster will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel from 6- 8 PM.
Burial will be at Flat Bayou Cemetery Altheimer, Arkansas.

Dear Linda, We are so sorry to just now see that Bro Bobby is in the presence of the Lord. What he believed by faith for many years, he now knows by sight! I know there was a celebration and many welcomed his arrival to his forever home including many of my family members including my Daddy, Lowe Stone and Uncle Paul and Aunt Shirley Stone. Certainly Bro Bobby enjoyed a life well lived.
