Mable Jean Lee Whittemore, 71, of Hensley, AR., went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 23, 2021. She was born November 30, 1949, in Banks, AR. to Robert and Ruby (Stone) Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her son Henry Warner Whittemore, a sister Annie Belle Whittemore and four brothers, Kenneth West, James Johnson, Hughie Stone and Jerry McRay.
Mable is survived by her husband, William Henry Whittemore Jr., two daughters, Rebecca Elmore of Little Rock and Ruby Garrett of Sheridan, three grandsons: Eric Elmore of Little Rock, Steven Crow of Hensley, and Gage Garrett of Little Rock, one granddaughter, Crystal Ante of Little Rock. Mabel also has five great grandchildren: Aiden Elmore, Randal Elmore-Powell, Auna-Marie Elmore, Christina Ante and Catelina Ante all of Little Rock, four sisters, Linda Blain, Christine Hearon, Hellen Ballard all from Oklahoma and Betty Adamson of Sheridan. She has two brothers, Junior Johnson, and Bob Johnson of Oklahoma.
A Visitation will be held at a later date at Woodson Pentecostal Church in Woodson, AR.
