Larry Lee Funderburg, age 70 of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at his home. He was born on December 13, 1950, in Ashland, Oregon, to his late parents, Virgil Lee Jackson Funderburg and Anna Belle West. Larry enjoyed hunting, sports, and was considered a jack of all trades. In addition, he was a veteran of the United States Marines.

Survivors include his wife Monica Funderburg of 23 years; one brother, Gary Funderburg of Oregon; one sister, Patricia Hale (Bob) of Shannon Hills, AR; four children, Jesse Funderburg (Brandy) of Virginia, Larry Funderburg, Jr. of Virginia, Misty Dormady of New York, and Shannon VanderMeer (Derek) of Michigan, and one step-son, Joshua Harbeson (Tiffany) of South Carolina and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Funderburg.

A memorial service will be at 10:00am Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Barnett Memorial Baptist Church.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

I just heard. I hadn’t seen or talked with Larry in over 20 years. However, I am happy to have once known him. He was a good man in my view. We dated briefly and I admired him greatly. Rest in Peace.
