Luella M. Hokams, age 90, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born on February 2, 1930, in Mays, Indiana to the late John Nathan Wittam and Gladys Marie Black. Luella had many hobbies that she enjoyed which included reading, sewing, and working puzzles. Luella was a very gentle and loving Christian, and a dedicated widowed mother to all her children growing up. In addition, she was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Little Rock for 30 years.

She is survived by her children, Linda Rogers of Mabelvale, AR, Billy Ray Hokams of Rapid City, SD, Ruby Hokams of Mabelvale, AR, Patricia Bowden of Bauxite, AR, George Hokams of Hensley, AR, Juanita Bratcher of Mabelvale, AR, and Freddie Hokams of Mabelvale, AR. She is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Hokams of 47 years, one daughter, Anna Randolph and one grandson, Anthony Cobb.

A visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Heritage Baptist Church in Little Rock with services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Guy Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
