of Little Rock, AR
November 18, 1932 - January 1, 2021
On January 01, 2021, Mabel Lucinda Morton age 88 of Little Rock, Arkansas went to Heaven where her husband & her Savior Lord Jesus Christ welcomed her with open arms. Mabel was born in Swifton, Arkansas on November 18, 1932, to George and Francis Hulen. Ms. Mabel or Nannie (as many called her) was a devoted Christian that was truly blessed with a servant's heart. She was loved very much and she was the type of person that if she had something & believed that you wanted it or needed it she would give it to you. Nannie was selfless attending to the needs of others before her own needs. Her motto in life was the ''Golden Rule'' ''Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.''
Survivors include her three children, Cindy Cross (Ronnie) of Fort Worth, TX, Jim Morton (Judy) of Little Rock, AR and Hulen Morton (Sharron) of Cabot, AR; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Russell (Jaime), Michael (Brandi) and Melanie (Paul); three great grandchildren, Brantlee, Abigale and Brody; two sisters Ida V Hartsell (AR) and Gertrude Cumby (TX) along with numerous other family members and friends who were family to her.
Graveside services will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 10:00am.
A celebration of life will be held at The Church at Willow Beach at a later date.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

My heart and prayers for the Morton family. When I read your mom had made her trip to Heaven, I took a moment to reflect on our lives growing up in Fourche. I’m so thankful I have fond memories of Mrs. Morton and pray God touches your hearts during this difficult time.
