Dorothy McClurg, 85, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019. She was born in Lee County, Arkansas on Thursday, March 8, 1934 to Charles and Viola Wilson Mathews.
She is survived by three sons, Ricky McClurg (Peggy), Joe McClurg (Larona), Phillip McClurg (Marilyn), all of Gill, Arkansas; one daughter, Donna Heath (Charles), of Palestine, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, one brother, Sam Mathews (Eula), of Gill, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her special cat Snowball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe McClurg, one grandson, Joe ''Bo'' McClurg, one sister, Lola Mae Key and one brother, Orville Mathews.
Services for Mrs. McClurg will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Wall Chapel Church in Holub Crossing, Arkansas with Brother Gary Malone officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Hopewell Cemetery in Gill, Arkansas. I am so sorry Aunt Dot was a wonderful lady and we loved her very much I pray that God will see you through I miss you all and if I can help please let me know.
