Merle Allen Colbert, 93, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was born Friday, October 30, 1925 to Raymond Alan and Dulcie Margaret Andrews Rutledge.
She is survived by two sons, Charles McCall (Bettie), of Palestine, Arkansas; John Rutledge (Dee), of Memphis, Tennessee; one daughter, Cynthia White (David), of Germantown, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Scott McCall, Jeff McCall (Amy), and Kelly Rutledge, six great-grandchildren, Drew, Zach, Garrett, Rebecca, Nash McCall, T.J. Thompson, and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Curtis E. Colbert, one brother, Frank Rutledge, and one great-grandson, Nathan McCall.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Christ in Marianna, Arkansas with Minister Steve Yarberry officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas.
