Billy G. Fowler, 87, of LaGrange, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born Friday, November 20, 1931 to Rufus and Myrtle Long Fowler.
Mr. Fowler is survived by two sons, Paul Fowler (Michelle), of LaGrange, Arkansas; Charles Fowler (Tammy), of Conway, Arkansas; three daughters, Martha Oxner (Glenn), and Billie Jo Roberson, all of Austin, Arkansas; Louise Grantham (Steve), of Batesville, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren, Jody Boyett, Karen Wright, Chris Oxner, Paul Joseph Fowler, Crystal Michelle Russell, James Hamilton, Tamitha Hamilton, Chad Fowler, Amy Hamilton, Melanie Fowler, Curtis Grantham, Tammy Sanford, Ryan Grantham, and Tim Roberson, thirty-two great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren with another one on the way .
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of sixty years, Lucille Brown Fowler, one son Larry Fowler, one grandson, Jason Roberson, one brother, Charles David Fowler Sr., and one sister, Mary Nell Dilks.
Services for Mr. Fowler will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Marianna Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Mike Holcomb officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Mr. Billy was truly one of a kind. He had such a huge heart, and I will be forever grateful for getting to know him as a customer of mine at the LaGrange post office. I will definitely miss him coming in to see me everyday, and I will never forget the kindness he showed me, my husband, and our little boy. To the family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers!!
