Kimberly (Kim) Kay Anderson, 59, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away
surrounded by loved ones on December 10, 2018. She was born on June 3,
1959, to the late Kathleen Galinski and Samuel Bowden.
Kim was an artist, jeweler, and creator whose passion and love for life
shown in her work. Well known for her kindness and strength, for being
compassionate and opinionated, showing her creativity and intellect, as
well as her feistiness and dry humor. Her mark was felt by all wherever she
went. She was a shining star to those who knew her and deeply impacted
everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband Bill Anderson, her daughter Kady Maser, and
her step-children Patricia Anderson, William Anderson, and Christine
Munroe. Along with her spouse and children were her grandchildren Tristin
and Claira Munroe. She is also survived by her siblings Don Comstock,
Stephanie Ann Comstock, Merritt Kochan, and several nieces and nephews.

Kim was a beautiful lady, didn't know her that well but she made the best Cheese cake I ever tasted. I was telling Bill about my 39th anniversary and how I wanted to do something special for my husband. He gave me her number and I called, I was amazed at how down to earth she was it was like I knew her for years. When she delivered my cake, I just had to give he a hug for doing this for me, and I receive this huge hug in return. God has called her home and I will miss her. Rest in Gods arms Kim it is my pleasure to call you friend.

Many words describe one of my forever friends. Creative, artistic, spiritual, a master chef, loving, intelligent, straight talker( my go to person to set me straight when I am upside down in life) and friend. Her love for Kady and Bill has no boundaries. I will miss you beyond measure- gone to soon for us still here. Though we only met once, it was clear how beautiful of a person you were. You were immensely loved by your family. Your success in life was your daughter, Kady, whom you raised to be an incredibly smart, genuine, and strong woman. She loved you beyond words, as she will undoubtedly continue to for as long as she lives. Thank you for her. Your passing was untimely, but your life was a gift to everyone you met. Rest peacefully.
