of England, AR
March 17, 1937 - July 10, 2018
Otha Eugene Frizzell, 81, was born in Tomberlin, Arkansas on March 17, 1937 and departed for his Heavenly home on July 10, 2018 in England, Arkansas. Otha, or ''Gene,'' as many knew him, was a devoted Christian and believer in Christ. He was a lifelong resident of England, and a longtime member and deacon of Landmark Baptist Church in England, Arkansas. He retired after 45 years as vice president of the Bank of England and the owner of several local successful businesses including F&F Auto Sales, The Queen of England, Frizzell's Foods, and most recently Olympic Motors and Olympic Plaza in Cabot. Otha's most powerful legacy, though, is that of his family. Otha was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He spent his entire life taking care of the ones that he loved and led his family to walk with Christ. Otha was a skilled man, and his hobbies included hunting, fishing, carpentry, and mechanics. There weren't many things that Otha couldn't build or repair. Otha was blessed to have had not one, but two amazing marriages. When his first wife, Shirley May Frizzell, went to be with the Lord after 44 years of marriage, he was blessed to fall in love with Mary Frizzell some years after and gained another daughter, son, and grandchildren through that union. Not many people can have one love, but Otha was fortunate enough to have two happy marriages. Otha is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Frizzell, father: Otha Lee Frizzell, his mother: Mable Standfill Frizzell, And his three sisters: Doris Blackwell, Madeline Harrington, and Shirley Hallie. Otha Is survived by his wife, Mary Frizzell, sons: Mike Frizzell and Mike McFadden and daughter: Terri Felton. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Lindsey Duncan, Hunter Felton, Kiki Felton, Lindsey McFadden, and Madison McFadden. He has one great-grandchild: Chael Pierce, who considers him a superhero and his best friend. Otha is loved, treasured, and respected by many. Otha and his family invite anyone reading this, if they have not done so, to trust Christ as their personal Savior so they can see Otha once again someday.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Roller England Funeral Home, (501) 842-3939, from 5-7:00 P. M. Services will be held July 13, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at Landmark Baptist Church, England, Arkansas. Bro. David Inzer will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery.

I just learned of Otha’s passing. Please accept my most sincere sympathies. My husband was Bo Dougan. Otha was our banker. He was always a wonderful, Christian, honest man to work with. Thank you all, for sharing him with me/us. I am asking The Holy Spirit to pour His peace and contentment, comfort and joy, down over you all, like warm honey! Libbie Dougan. Phil. 4:13

Mike our thoughts and prayers for you and your family
Mrs Mary, Mike, Mike, Terri & Family-We are so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Otha was a genuine man, and a true example of what it meant to live like Christ and to be the hands and feet of Jesus daily. Our hearts are saddened for your loss but we know he is walking hand in hand with Jesus now, free of pain and suffering. May God wrap his arms around you during this difficult time and surround you with many wonderful memories to hold in your hearts forever. Larry & Tracy King
Sorry to hear about your dad, Mike, and I didn't know about your mother. He gained his angel wings, as did she, and God gained two wonderful angels in both of them. My family is praying for your family at this time of loss. As you may or may not know, my oldest daughter, Jennifer, gained her angel wings on 09/08/2014 after a horrific car accident claimed her life. I'm sure she greated your dad as he entered the gates of Heaven. Forever friends, Kim and Tom Aldrich, Tammy and Isabelle, Angel, and Lili Rodriguez, Marcie Burnell, and Ashley, Codey, Leo, Cole, and Genesis Slyter.
So sorry for your loss. May God comfort and help strengthen the family during this time of sorrow. Isaiah 41:10

In Life we meet many people, some we forget some we keep in our hearts. Mr. Otha was a "Keeper" We meet years ago when I was A little girl riding the school bus his Mother drove; Then again when I worked at Frizzell's Foods. But, my most memorable meeting was when he gave us a Loan for our Home at Bank of England, we have been Forever Friends. You would think A person as Intelligent, Gifted, Important and Classy as Mr. Otha, would be inaccessible but He wasn't. He Always talked to me and treated me with Respect. I enjoyed waiting on Him when He came to the Revenue Office and Listening to Him Pray at the Auction. My Prayers to & for His Family.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8

You have many great memories to sustain you through the years. Mary, Terri, Mike I am sorry for your loss as well. May God grant all of you peace at a sad time in your lives. I pray your memories will carry you through the years ahead. God bless all of you. Betty Albright-Bistrow
Dear Mike, Mrs. Mary and Family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Otha. He was a great person who I admired very much. I will always remember as a younger person going in the bank and watching him count money as a teller. No one could count it faster. It was amazing.
He was always polite and never to busy to visit. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your families.

I consider myself still a member of Landmark Baptist Church, and knew Mr. Frizzell through the church and my hometown of England. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My prayers and condolences to his family and the entire town of England for his loss.
