COLLIERVILLE, TN
Jo Ann Barr Treadwell, born and raised in Selmer, Tennessee,
entered peacefully into her eternal life on Tuesday
morning, November 15, 2016, after 83 years on this Earth.
Jo Ann was a caring and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother,
friend, Tennessee Volunteer, and, above all, a child
of God through St. Patrick's Presbyterian Church. Her loving
spirit and fierce protectiveness of her family and friends
will be missed by all who knew her.
Jo Ann has remained an active member of the Tri Delta
sorority since her time at the University of Tennessee. In
October of 1964, she was a founding member of the East
Shelby County Tri Delta alumni chapter, as well as the chapter's
president from 1982-84.
Throughout her life, Jo Ann was an avid traveler and a
lover of all cultures of the world. She made her mark in
countries many of us will only dream to visit. However, her
recent ascent into Heaven is certainly her most epic trip of
all.
Jo Ann's spirit is lived on through her husband, Tim ''T.L.''
Treadwell III, her son, Tim L. Treadwell IV, and her granddaughter,
Rachel L. Treadwell, among many close family
and friends from various walks of life.
Visitation and receiving of friends will be held on November
17 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Treadwell residence at 262
East Poplar Avenue in Collierville, Tennessee. A funeral procession
and graveside memorial service will follow at 2510
Pleasant Grove Road in Moscow, Tennessee.
