Betty Basse, 81, of Bartlett, TN died February 11, 2016. She was a member of Easthill Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Fitch and Ruth Basse, sons Luke and Philip Basse, one sister Darla LeRoy and 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Easthill Baptist Church with a funeral service on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 11 am at Easthill Baptist Church.

Brother Basse and Mrs. Basse made such a difference in my 3 son's lives. Jimmy, Joshua and Joseph were all influenced by their Christian leadership and teaching. I'll never forget the year I let her talk me into playing the parent against student basketball game! I bet she got a big laugh out of that! She is now in the company of our Lord and Savior and praising God.
I send my prayers to her family and wanted you to know how special she was to us all.
